A few comments:

  • The first sentence was a little awkward; I rearranged it to start off with mention of the bass oboe (and wikilink). I changed "range" to "compass" since at least to my mind "range" refers to the actual span of notes available to an instrument while "compass" refers to the size of that span, so oboe and bass oboe have the same compass but different range.
  • Since concertos for Heckelphone were listed I added a mention of it in the introduction.
  • I brought the titles into conformity with MOS:MUSIC.

A couple of things I didn't change but was tempted:

  • Given that there are only three works listed at this point, and none under 21st century, it seems silly to divide the list up by centuries at this stage.
  • If Heckelphone concertos are to be listed here, why have a separate Heckelphone concertos page? In which case that redlink in the "See also" section should be removed. Conversely, if there should be a Heckelphone concertos page, then two of the three works listed here should be moved to there -- in which case we're left with a list of one and it is questionable whether this article should exist at all. I incline to keeping the Heckelphone concertos here, and redirecting "Heckelphone concertos" to this article. 70.169.140.85 (talk) 12:12, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
